Summer Programme 2008

We have just concluded a successful Summer Programme at our residential retreat in Agropoli, Southern Italy. The Summer 2008 programme will be a three week program.

The dates for the Summer 2008 programme are:

Week 1: 22nd August – 29th August
Week 2: 29th August – 5th Septembe
Week 3: 5th September - 12th September

Our New Logo

The diver is from an ancient Greek fresco discovered in the ruins of Paestum. It dates from 425BC and is one of the very few Greek fresco paintings to survive. If you are interested in finding out more follow this link to Paestum.

New Website

I hope you all like our new website. We all agreed that the old one was kind of tired looking and needed to be re-vamped. And, with the increasing size of the site it had to be re-organised to present a fresher, clearer and easy to use site. I hope you all approve. From London to Ely

Ely Cathedral
For 20 years, Clapham in London has been the home of Pellin UK. Brenda and Peter have now moved to Ely in Cambridgeshire so that Brenda can be closer to her family and Peter can take in a quieter part of England in his seventies. They still have a deep love of London and still have a London base in Old Street, Hoxton. To reflect this we have changed they symbol for Pellin UK from Big Ben to Ely Cathedral.

New Mission Statement

Peter is working with three colleagues at The Innovatory to develop C2L (Contributing to London), a programme linking young people in London to the Olympics in 2012. This programme involves teaching young people media and camera skills and the tools of CT.
In developing this new work, we have come up with a new Mission Statement:

"The best way to heal is to contribute. The best way to learn is to teach"

The Innovatory is a Business Support group based in Old Street, London and Pellin is an associate organisation.

AHPP AGM set for November 12th

The AHPP (UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners) is holding it's AGM on the 12th of November. Peter is actively involved with this professional body, in particular with the Membership Committee and the Accreditation process. We want to be up-to-date with the new government proposal for statutory regulation involving the UKCP (UK Council on Psychotherapy)
